When a primary cardholder adds more cardholders to their account, they are typically family members or trusted friends. The only restriction is age. In most states additional cardholders must be 18 years old. However, in some states, additional cardholders must be at least 19 years old.

Keep in mind, additional cards will only ship to the primary cardholder for security purposes, and must be activated by the primary cardholder. The primary cardholder is responsible for all payments on behalf of their additional cardholders.
